Convert all users to one price regardless of zone

Hello, I've been searching for hours to find a solution to this. I am using Zen version 1.5.3.

I have a shop I would like to make all users have one price. For example:
My customer lives in Australia, Canada etc and they want to buy my product that, for the USA, costs $10. I would like all customers, no matter where they are, to be able to pay just $10 in their denomination.

Does anyone know of a mod or a way to do this? Perhaps I've been thinking about it too long and can't figure out a solution. This is a well established shop that I've been running for quite some time so it has several mods and customizations.

Well, there is the currency area/option that currently offers conversion rates... You would just want to set the conversion rate to 1 for all currencies and have that not auto-update...

Wouldn't that allow someone to buy something that the OP wants $10 for at their currency rate of say 10 lire

Yup, if lire is a currency that they offer... It is what was requested though and determined by the store owner already as the desired path... Shrug...

Thank you for such quick replies! Basically I am ok with losing a little money in the conversion. I just want to be sure that my customer is paying only the equivalent to $10US (on their side).

Okay so under admin - localization - Set every option to Value: 1.00000000
would that be right?

Ahh, that's an animal of a different color and more along the lines of what kobra was suggesting... In the localization->currencies section, for each currency supported you want to be sure to periodically refresh the currency conversion so that they will see the price of the item updated to their currency. Thus in the case of the lire, they would see the number of lire equivalent to $10... There is at least one plugin that does this updating routinely, and I thought the upcoming version of ZC automates that a little more...

Only if you want everyone to hand you 10 units of their currency regardless of the exchange rate... (See exchange rate of US$ to Lire... Should get lots of lire for a single $1...

Google: $1 to lira: 1 US dollar = 3.0222 Turkish Lira

Therefore if set all to 1, then when someone chose to pay in lira, they would pay a little over $3 or 10 lira...

Better yet: $1 to yen: 1 US dollar = 118.2390 Japanese yen

So if yen was a currency in your store and the conversion was set to 1, then someone paying with yen would give 10 yen which would be roughly $0.08....

There are only the default countries set up, but paypal seems to be forcing the conversion...
I went into the paypal settings in the admin and chose their currency instead of only USD so I'm not sure how that will work.

Yes exactly this...so even though I won't make exactly $10 on my $10 product, my customer is only paying the $10 equivalent that everyone else pays. Basically, so the customer is getting the item for $10 (or their currency equiv) no matter where they live. I will take the loss.
