Sales order only has one line for product

I have customers who are ordering several products but the order is only showing one line of the product. using ZC. 1.5.4 FEC and paypal express.

I am not sure if this is linked to the issue I posted about earlier with paypal express and the shipping country changing to the channel islands.

I seemed to be plagued with issues I cannot find the answer to.

Why would the second line of the product listing disappear?

What happens when you turn (the nightmare) FEC off?

All of the data needs to be prepared PROPERLY before it leaves the various checkout pages in a stock cart, Zen and Paypal will get the data and move it forward in the order. If this breaks, data goes missing and your problem continues.
