Setting up Different Shipping Cost

Hi everyone,

I am trying to find information on setting up, and applying different shipping costs to products when purchased so the customer can then choose which level of shipping cost is on offer.

Example.

Within UK.

Product + shipping Costs.

Product + Standard 2 class 5.00.
product + Standard 1 class 5.80.
Product + Signed for 6.00.
product + Standard 5.00.

And the same again for Shipping costs to different named countries abroad.

Would this be possible to set up?

I would like to say thank you, to everyone in advance for any help on this.

Steven.

Re: Setting up Different Shipping Cost

Are all of your products the same size/have the same shipping cost?

If so, then having a standard class 2 zone setup as Kobra said would work.

If each of your products costs different amounts to ship, then it will fast become a nightmare. I try to keep my shipping cost setup simple & at about the cost that 90% of cases will be. The other 10% I win or lose a little on.

Then I spend less time shipping each package (they go via one of two ways, meaning I have less chance to bugger that up), and less time maintaining my shipping tables.

You have 4 shipping options that range from 5-6, which seems to me that they are all pretty close to the same price. I would pick one & just use that.

Not sure what your market is telling you though...

Hi PatClay,

The shipping prices I have listed are not the Actual Costs involved.
