hover over category names on main page

On my main page I have a list of my categories with a brief description underneath and a link to their respective pages. How can I make it so that when you hover over the category name you can see a list of the products within that category?

On a separate note, I tried v154 without any left sideboxes against various virtual tablets, cellphones, etc. and it was totally mobile friendly.

Unfortunately that is not what I'm looking to do. If you go to my website, https://www.pazdarwinery.com (right now it is still using v 152 which I'll be updating in the next day or two to v154), it shows categories in the middle of the main page with the start of a vignette underneath them. If you click on the vignette, it will take you to that respective category page. I would like to set it up so that if you hover over the category name, it will give you a list (possibly pop-up box) of the wines within that category.

Go into define Main Page under tools. Before each category name put in <a href=" " title="whatever products are in each category followed by the return key to list them">

If going this route, there is a function or a few that can help generate this list. I believe they are all/mostly in the includes/functions/functions_categories.php file that would return a list of product information for the associated category. So as each category "name" is displayed, the associated products list can be presented.
