Sagepay Form V1.5.5

In v1.5.5 Sagepay Form is now a part of Zen Cart and comes with the install. (Latest updates can be downloaded from Zen Cart Sagepay Integration )

How does this differ from other Sagepay modules produced by JSWEB and Nixak? Or is this just one of the Sagepay form modules which would normally be downloaded from the Payment Modules section for download from Zen Cart?

Does the Zen Cart version of Sagepay Form, which appears to have been written by Dr Byte, report back to the shopping cart correctly to produce the order in the admin?

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

Hi

I would say that the in built code was 'inspired' by the nixak module. I have however rewritten large portions of the code. The main reason for the rewrite was to allow for more easily adding other Sagepay payment types (Direct/Frame)

Hi

I guess I should also point you to https://github.com/zencart/sagepay

Also regarding

Does the Zen Cart version of Sagepay Form report back to the shopping cart correctly to produce the order in the admin?

Yes, but then don't the other versions (jsweb, nixak) do that?

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

I think there were issues with both for a while, although having said that I do have a JSWEB version running and it seems to report back. I think there was an issue with both going to a blank page at one point. I can't really remember properly though so I could be wrong.

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

Hi There

I am running a few sites which are 154 and 153 and would like to use the Sage Pay forms intergration.

Is this the latest version?
https://github.com/zencart/sagepay

I get this error
5080 : Form transaction registration failed.

Any help would be appreciated

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

That 5080 error is a generic catch-all error that could mean a hundred different things.

Typical causes are:

  • incorrect user/vendorname in your store's module settings
  • incorrect encryption-password in your store's module settings
  • incorrect permissions assigned to the user inside your SagePay account profile

You could enable "Log Always" and then attempt a transaction, and then use the /logs/SagePay-xxxxxxxxx.log files to inspect the data being transmitted, whilst talking to your SagePay tech rep so they can help ascertain what specifically is being refused by their systems.

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

HI there

I think the problem might be more fundemental than this.
I am using the CEON/jweb version successfully on 3 sites.
The encryption password and vendor name are fine.
I just get this errror immediately the form is passed to sagepay
Error processing transaction

This transaction attempt has failed. We are unable to redirect you back to the web store from which you were purchasing. The details of the failure are given below.

Status:
ERROR

Status Detail:
5080 : Form transaction registration failed.

Maybe I have the wrong module version as I know sagepay have insisted on new things?
Please let me know if you have any ideas?

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

Another common cause is transmitting in a currency-code that's not allowed in your Sagepay account setup.

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

I have tried setting the currency to GBO and the zone to UK but I still get the same error.
I cannot see anyother settings in admin that can be changed!
Have you any other ideas?
Are you sure this works with current sagepay system?
Or maybe I have the wromg version on the code?

Please advise?

Re: Sagepay Form V1.5.5

Just bumping this thread really.

Higher up WIlt suggested that other Sagepay integrations might be on the way. And the GitHub page he references says that Sagepay server might be coming soon.

Is this the case?

I am using modified versions of Ceon's original server module but that obviously means keeping on top of the maintenance myself. If there was an inbuilt version that would be lovely :-)

I know this is an old post but maybe this will help someone else. I got this error today when trying to set up a new version of our site. I had selected 'Test Server' in the Ceon Sage Pay Form 2.0.2 admin module, but left the username and encryption password settings with the Live Server's values. As soon as I changed to 'Live Server', the error stopped appearing and I could navigate from checkout to Sage Pay site just fine.

Logging on to the test admin https://test.sagepay.com/mysagepay (there are useful hyperlinks at the top of the Ceon Sage Pay Form admin module's info panel) shows me that the encryption password for the test server is different to that of the live site, so I'm guessing if you want to switch to the Test Server you have to keep the Vendor Name and Encryption Passwords setting also updated in the payment module config.
