Please Help! not accepting new password

I had to get a temporarily password then asked for new password and its not accepting new password keep rejecting it.

Update**
This is a new install with a new database.
I have requested a new password to reset. Its not accepting the new reset password.

Its not accepting the new reset password
It has to be of a certain set of characters to pass "strong" password requirements
Admin passwords now require a combination of letters and numbers
