State field requires an input when min value is 0

Hey all,

My client wanted to not require the state field be filled out when making an account or placing orders so I set its minimum value to 0 and turned the "always display as dropdown" to false but when you go to fill out the form it pops up an error asking for a state from the drop down box. Below are two screen caps so that you can see what's happening. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried reverting back to the classic template ? Does the problem still occur? If not,it I probably a problem in the FEC module you're using.

Thanks for the response! I tried what you recommended and it still gave the same error. A possible work around would be to have it default to a state, is there anyway do that?

Re: State field requires an input when min value is 0

I could honestly use all suggestions, this one is stumping me hard. I've tried adding a 'value="NC"' to the state input tag, commenting out all javascript the validates the state input, and changing the defines file but nothing has worked.
