WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again

Recently switched from XAMPP to local Mac OS X and moved my zencart files over and updated the configuration file.

Zencart gives me the fallowing error:
WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

simple script called test-mysql.php works great

phpmyadmin works great

So what could be causing the problem for Zencart?

  // ie: /path/to/your/webspace/public_html/zen/cache -- leave no trailing slash
  define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'none');
  define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', '/Library/WebServer/Documents/enterprise/zen/cache');

Simple Script:

<?php

$link = mysql_connect('localhost', 'root', '*******');
if (!$link) {
    die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());
}
echo 'Connected successfully';
mysql_close($link);

?>

Re: WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again

Simple script also has:

$selected = mysql_select_db("eclassw1_zencart",$link)
or die("Could not select examples");

  1. Have you checked your cache directory for myDebug files and 2. You have a strategy to upgrade don't you?

Reviewing the logs will provide a rather well based clue and if you are correct then should confirm your suspicions. If incorrect, then should guide you to the problem area....
