Flat rate shipping for USA only

Hi everyone. I am a bit confused as to how to make shipping to any of the 48 continental US states a "flat rate".

Anything else outside of that I want to have USPS rate the package which I think is very easy by just checking INTERNATIONAL check boxes inside the module.

Anyone have any idea how to configure this properly as there isn't really options inside the flatrate module that came with zencart?

You can create a Zone Definition for the Flat Rate flat shipping module ...

for a quick way to make the US 48 plus DC Zones ...

So If I'm understanding this correctly, I'm going to the link provided, going to COPY and PASTE everything inside the box the information for the 48plusDC into the SQL QUERY EXECUTOR box and click send all in one step??

If this is it, and it is one simple step, how can I confirm that it is actually working?

To test, create a Test Customer account and add good/bad addresses and test the checkout on shipping ...

I ran it through the Admin install SQL patches portal.

I then went into ADMIN>locations/taxes>Zone Definitions - Taxes, Payment and Shipping

And I see now "50 States + DC" (this is the option that I want)

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is what shows me that it installed by it showing up here....am I correct?

If this means that it installed correctly, what is the next step in getting the cart to see this addition to the zones "50 and DC " and just offer a "Flat Rate" shipping price for anyone wanting their packages shipped in those areas?

Once the Zone Definition is created, edit the shipping module and add that Zone to it ...

Now, only those shipping to that Zone can see it ...

I got worried as no one could buy from me anymore, so I restored a backup and will try again in the future. First I'm going to try the FedEx Web services module and see if that can handle the USA for me. If so, that I wont need to add Zones and change things around with the SQL editor.
