linked product ==> Duplicate content

I was under the impression that using copy = "linked product" will be OK and it will not be flagged as duplicate content, when i checked my site with siteliner dot com it says the multiple categories that have linked product in them are duplicates.

If you have a zen cart with linked product a cross multiple categories you can see what i am talking about if you run your site in
sitliner dot com.

Re: linked product ==> Duplicate content

Siteliner is looking at the actual on page content, not bothering to look at the canonical url, so of course it would see a duplication of actual content on what is essentially the same page under two different urls. The search engine, however, will look at the canonical url which will be the same for both pages.

If you have the canonical tag in your header, there is no problem

Thanks Mike, Do you know another tool that check the source Rather than the page content?
