I couldn't get versions 1.55 and 155a to work as they stuck on database creation at 90% approx so,

I have downloaded and installed verion 1.5.4

Everything went smoothly and at the end I clicked on the shop and it worked OK.

When I clicked on the admin however I got the following message

WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

I have installed the version twice now and I still get the same message.

Any idea what could be wrong?

What came of following the first link?

Also, the second link was provided to give you a sort of "head's up" on issues that likely need to be addressed because I believe the corrections identified there are not included in a file download of the applicable version, but instead corrected in newer versions and available for application on the applicable version(s).

Sorry, didn't check the first link. I have since loaded v1.5.3 and this works fine so I suppose it is a bug in v1.5.4 I know not what?

Well, the first link identifies that when such an error message is presented that there generally is an error log made in your logs directory. This is something the rest of us don't generally have access unless you have given them the credentials to access it.

Anyways, no one can tell you what the problem is without first knowing what is logged as the problem...

Ohh and before posting the contents, which you are welcome to do, please be sure to obscure your real SECRET admin directory name. Call it admin to keep things straight. :)
