My site times out to quickly

Some of my customers have complained that my site times out to quickly and their page shuts down. They have to re log inn again to complete their orders.

Is there a setting somewhere that this timing can be adjusted?

o What customizations have you made? Created custom Template. Moved text and boxes form home page. Setting up categories etc
o What type of server are you using? Unix-based servers on JustHost.com
o Are you installing locally? It’s already installed on my host. I am editing it there.
 What operating system? Windows 7
 What version of PHP is installed on the server? PHP 5.2.16

Version 1.3.9h has an industry standard timeout of ~15 minutes before session data is "removed". Logging in or placing items in the cart is associated with a session. Navigating to another page resets the session timeout. Regarding a logged in customer, items placed in the cart will be saved to that account to return to their cart upon logging in again.

What is it about your site that requires a customer to take so long?
