zc_install keeps telling me the files are not writable

Hi, I have successfully loaded before on Mint and now using Fedora24.

I am at a complete lost to understand what is happening.

I try to install and get the four red bands saying that the file permissions are not correct.

I have renamed the two dist-configure.php to configure.php

I have changed the permissions and verified them as being read and writeable on the two configure.php files
and the cache and logs.

I refresh but the red bands will not go. I have gone back to the start page and clicked on click here and the
same four bands come up.

I even tried version V160 and still the same thing occurs.

I have tried setting all the files again with chmod 777 and they all list as drwxrwxrwx

I am stuck any ideas please?

Have you tried setting the file permissions to 644? Some hosts don't allow "operation" at 777.

Have tried that no change.

I'am using the localhost on my desktop for this anyway.
