Improve Image Handler Downsized Image Quality

Even after setting the compression quality to 100 the resized images shown by Image handler in the bmz folder are of poorer quality than the original.

So every image in the bmz folder either small, large or medium looses it's quality.

We want to show the original picture quality, how can we achieve this.

I have got no reply on this however found out that upgrading to a higher PHP version can improve GD library performance and am currently working on this now.

While there may have been a more likely chance to receive a response by posting to the forum for Image Handler, part of the guidance would likely be to refer to the documentation in which it is described that compression by any amount will affect quality. It's in the nature that in order to get more pixels to fit within a given space that "defining" pixels (quality) will decrease.

Hopefully though you are able to work out a satisfactory balance of quality, page speed, and sales. :)
