ERROR 0071: There appears to be a problem with the database. Maintenance is required.

My site has been working great and now I get this error message on my website and admin.
Can someone tell me why this would start doing this. I did click on the link and it said something about the database but it does not make scents to me.

Like I said the site has been working great.

Update,
The site just came back and so did Admin. I don't know why this happened. If anyone can explain why this happened, I sure would appreciate it.

Your webhost could have been having server issues.
