UPS XML: Support Thread

I just downloaded UPS XML plug-in. I tried to request an access key by the provided instructions. However, after I opened the link, here is what I found:

If you were sent here by a software provider to obtain an access key, please share the below with them as they will need to update their integration to OAuth auth-code grant type in order to continue to enable their services.

By June 2023, UPS will no longer issue new API access keys.

UPS has implemented an OAuth 2.0 security model for all APIs to enhance the overall security for our customers, reduce fraud and provide enhanced API capabilities. OAuth replaces access keys with a client ID and client secret for authentication. New OAuth credentials must be created on the UPS Developer Portal.

As a lot of people know ups has messed up our shipping module. That's why I'm here trying to install 1.710 as that the newest module that's listed my my version of zen cart. I followed the instructions and double checked my work with where the files are being loaded up. But I still don't see the option to click on the ups xml module under my console for shipping modules. Any help would be great and also to let me know if its not even going to work with a older module like that. Thanks!!!!!!!

When you say that the upsxml module doesn't show, I'm guessing that you're experiencing a "partial whitescreen".

Use an FTP program or your webhost's cPanel's File Manager to look in the site's /logs directory to see if there are any myDEBUG-adm-*.log files present.

If so, post the contents of one ... making sure to xxx-out the name of your site's admin directory name!

What version of PHP is in use on the site?

Please note that I've just released the UPS shipping module that uses the now-current RESTful/OAuth interface (https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2374)

As such, the UPS-XML shipping module is now deprecated (i.e. no longer supported).

UPSXML users: note that UPS has set June 2024 as the deprecation date for the API this module uses. See announcement here:

You will want to update to UPS REST at your earliest convenience.
