V1.5.4 Credit Card Fields not showing paypaldp Module disabled because SSL is not

mydanilo.com v1.5.4

Suddenly not getting credit card fields during checkout. I turned on logging and this is what I get.

paypaldp
Module disabled because SSL is not enabled on this site.

Shop is running all SSL and SSL Report came back A all good. Have been looking for a while and can't find the issue. On the same domain and server I have a dev version of v1.5.5e running and all is good.

I am not ready to go live with the v1.5.5e so I need to fix old site. Please help.

Re: V1.5.4 Credit Card Fields not showing paypaldp Module disabled because SSL is not

Well, just found the issue. Turns out that when I went all SSL shop and admin, I set in includes/configure.php define('ENABLE_SSL', 'false'); Now set it to define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true'); and it work. Thought we had to set it to false when going all SSL?

There was a "brief" period where it was suggested to operate under full SSL with the ENABLE_SSL flag set to false. This was for reasons that are still valid; however, there were modules of various type that were not prepared for that logic. That payment module is/was one of them. The code for the payment module(s) could be relatively easily modified and the setting restored, but ultimately it comes down to the fact that it needs to work. :)
