Customers Basket - does not update new product pricing, sales, specials...

Condition:
When a customer adds products to their cart and they do not check out, they are stored in the customers_basket in the database.

Customer returns, cart is merged and the 'old' products and prices are added without pricing being updated.

Now customers can now checkout with long past expired sales or specials.

Code fix needed:
There doesn't appear to be a product pricing check operating when the customers_basket is being merged into the shopping cart - one needs to be added to make certain the product and their attribute prices are current.

I'm not seeing that in the as-shipped Zen Cart code. The $_SESSION['cart']->restore_contents simply gathers the products' id/quantity and attribute 'information' and, to my eyes, will re-calculate the pricing based on the store's current prices.

Do you have additional customizations on the site where you've seen this anomaly?
