HTML allowed in Reviews description

Sometimes reviews may may not be as good as desired...due to specific issues with that client/order.
But, I think it is good to publish these too as it adds authenticity...with a comment from the shop as to why there was an issue.
I thought it would be easy to allow html to differentiate the shop comment from the customer comment in the same text field...but no.
There are several places where this gets stripped out/replaced in the edit, preview, update, display process...one more than I could find easily.

Any mileage in this idea...or it would be better from a security pov to have a separate db field for admin comments, with different sanitation handling than the customer input?

I think it would be great to have this. And even better is to allow replies to reviews like other sites have, allows a conversation to get started which can lead to helpful discussion both for customers and store owners.
