PayPal Website Payments Pro does not check CVV

I've been trying to beef up security on our site, as we've had a few chargebacks.

I'm using PayPal Website Payments Pro

When testing checkout using my own credit card, I noticed that the transaction went through fine when:
Name on card did NOT match
NO CVV was entered.

I can't find any setting, that forced the check of name, or one that ensure the CVV is checked and matched.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks a lot!

Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro does not check CVV

If it means anything I was just in the process of updating my local test site for ZC 1.5.7 and recall seeing some code changes associated with CVV and a few other checks where it seems that paypal is expecting the information to be passed as some new(er) variable name. I might suggest at least looking at that payment module as possibly being installed into this 1.5.5 site.

Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro does not check CVV

I'm relatively certain Paypal considers this an advanced fraud filter and therefore requires an upgrade to use.

When you are logged in you can see more here:
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_rc-manage

When they mention CSC they are speaking of the CVV code.
