tons of MYdebug logs created over and over

Hello,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction on how to fix this issue. But i noticed my log folder quickly filling up with mydebug files. By last count it was around 2k. Most of them look like this.

Is this related to the php upgrade ? I was on php 5.6 before dreamhost force upgraded us.

when you say revert , do you mean revert to a the version of php i was using ? Thank you btw for helping me. Dreamhost has removed php 5.6 from the downgrade options :(

Revert to the lowest php 7 they offer. If the site is still working, live with the debugs while you upgrade.

alright , i was able to contact support . They said a temporary option for me was to add vps to my account and move the site there. They said VPN could still use the older (5.6) versions of php.

As for the forced php upgrade? They sent out messages possibly more than a year ago that the php version was going to be increased and that effort should be taken to prepare the site to support that upgrade. This is also a reason why Zen Cart has been upgraded so much over the last several years. The intention being to support continued use in new server environments.

They sent out messages possibly more than a year ago that the php version was going to be increased and that effort should be taken to prepare the site to support that upgrade. This is also a reason why Zen Cart has been upgraded so much over the last several years. The intention being to support continued use in new server environments.

Yeah i know they sent the email out , it was my stupid ######## who didn't heed the warning. I really thought i could coast right along with 1.5.5f , since i was getting sales. This is all on me for not keeping up. So far I am happy I was able to get support to downgrade for me , so I atleast have some breathing room.

Time to heed the advice in post #8. Upgrade from 1.5.5f to 1.5.6c will be easier than you think.
