Should we delete image-buttons in the next version?

All you are doing is replacing the css for the existing button with the code created by the generator. Since the same button is often used in several parts of the site, you shouldn’t have to change much code.

AND, I always recommend using stylesheet_zcustom.css to make the changes. It will automatically override the other stylesheets and keep code changes where you can find them

   -For translations it would be a lot easier as you don't need to provide gif-images which are a problem with local differences in languages. French from France vs Canada or German in Germany vs Austria vs Switzerland. Just rewriting the word in the language file is easier in a language file than remaking the gif-files.
   -Template or custom made buttons can by handled in their own css-file.
   -Loading speed increases.

In short; I'm a full fan.

Don't underestimate them! I've seen a 50+ suffer to use his smartphone and getting schooled by an older guy who handle the thing like a teenager. I asked the older man his age. 78!

You are right about that.... if you want a multiple language store the CSS are must have buttons.

Now you know why I'm in favour of css-buttons (and hoping for an Admin-version customization).

I've spend time on making buttons as they were a mix of styles. Just in case someone wants to have them. As they use in Austria and Switzerland sometimes complete different words a simple text editing in a file is easier than making a new gif.

Maybe we should get rid of image-buttons.... I guess there are free templates that don't have the ugly rectangle buttons....and maybe people can figure out how to do it for themselves? Would be great to have less directories and less button files....
