Some Countries Not Accepting USPS How Do I Block Certain Countries From Ordering?

I'm using the USPS Shipping Module (2017-09-16 version). I don't know if it's a setting here or somewhere else but I need to block all countries except Canada and the USA from placing an order on my site. The reason is some countries aren't accepting mail right now because of coronavirus and the USPS has no clear info on which countries are doing that. And they say the list changes daily. What just recently happened is a customer filed a PayPal dispute because he hasn't received his package yet (Express package sent 4/22). PP is about to take $236 from me for a package that's sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting on his country to start accepting packages again. I can't have that happen again so want to restrict sales temporarily to just the US and Canada (accepting mail). Any clue where that setting would be? I'm thinking maybe set a zone in PayPal so they can't order if outside the zone but not exactly sure how to make a Canada/USA only zone or if that's possible.

Based upon the status label and description, I think this will do it for you IF you only use USPS. If you have other methods, it will eliminate them too. OR do what Scott said :-)

Admin: Locations/Taxes: Countries:

Change the green box on for the countries you do not want to ship to Red and the notice will change from
Status (Active for shipping?): Yes

to
Status (Active for shipping?): No

Most shipping modules (including USPS) have a zone that they can be assigned to. Create a new Zone for Canada and USA, then go to Admin > Modules > Shipping > USPS and set the shipping zone to that newly created zone.

Thanks that's actually what I did a bit ago when I noticed I could set zone on the paypal module. Seems to be working so far.
