Using 1.5.6 zencart and php 7.3

Hello,
I downloaded this plugin and it works great. In my instance it is allowing me to have a semblance of normalcy as I have ongoing problems with a hacked site or server.
I am ignorant but stubborn so I would like to ask for patience.
I downloaded the zip file and can not figure the file structure.
I read them to be that upon unwrapping , I would be creating OR adding to the following folders for the zencart 1.5.6 version I am using:

admin: [ i have that naturally]
includes: [ I have that]I added inventory.php here and set permissions
Drilling down then
extra_datafiles = [I had that and added the inventory.php]
languages => English [I had those but didn't have folder "extra_definitions so I uploaded the folder extra_definitions] it installed inventory.php also

At this point it is working and I am loving it.

What should I do with the other files in the zip file like folders font_wesome-4.2.0,fonts. js, less and zc_plugins?

I opened a support thread pertaining to my ongoing problem and yes, I am using this to circumvent that problem and am not advising anyone to do that but am saying the plugin is remarkable and I will use it daily! It makes zencart fun again frankly.

the zc_plugins folder is only for a v1.5.7 install. as you are running v1.5.6, it is completely unnnecessary.
the other folders are only part of the documentation and should NOT be uploaded to your server.

1.57c, plugin install, echo $pager - one dropdown to select the page works, the other does not. Prev-Next works both top and bottom of the table.

Is there a fix already?

Mike, now that you have commented, you will get update notices (assuming your account is so configured).

new changes are ONLY for v157.

i suppose we can see how good the manifest update works!

I would suggest removing the 156 files from future versions if they're not being maintained; just select 157 in the Zen Cart version checkboxes and advise 1.5.6 users to use version 1.2.3 (or whatever the last 156 update version was).

On a first test it seems is working. We will test it further.

I saw that the latest version 1.2.5 is for ZC 1.5.7, but nothing newer.
So I want to ask: is there a newer version available, or perhaps anyone knows of a similar functioning plugin. I did not find one, nor does ZC 2.1.0 appear to have such functionality built-in.
If not, I will try to update it myself, though from comments here it might work as it is.

v1.2.6 now submitted.

support for multi language on installer not really happening as english is hard coded.

but language files now updated and simplified.

I have installed the Inventory Updater 1.2.6 on a ZC-2.1.0 with php8.3 and I click on admin>tools>inventory and it defaults back to the main page. I also have display logs v3.0.2 and it does the same thing. I have another site running the same ( ZC-2.1.0 with php8.3) and it works there. I'm not thinking it could be the Plugin Manager because I have usps Restful v1.7.0 installed and it works fine. Does anyone have an idea where to look?
