Anyone tried Sendy yet in lieu of MailChimp?

Just wondering if anyone tried Sendy in lieu of MailChimp? I'm asking because it is costing more and more to use Mailchimp and although I like it, I wonder.

I've searched here and didn't find anything. I've also searched for reviews but don't know that I can trust what I found.

If any of what is mentioned true and remains, we are talking HUGE difference in cost. If you do try it, I'd like your opinion.
