Contact Us Spam

Using Zen Cart v1.5.6c

I get a lot of spam via our contact us page and all the info concerning adding captcha etc... is from around 2009.
Is there a simple way to add captcha or blacklist specific IP and/or hosts to current versions of Zen Cart?
And if so, will you help me do this?

I can pay to hire someone to do the test and application work as long as it's not too expensive.

There's a non-Captcha plugin you could explore, in addition to a reCaptcha plugin.
There's also an IP-Blocker plugin.
