An option when creating New Product Page for Item is New or Item is Used

Hello all and I am a new user and will be selling New and Used products from my zen cart shop.

I have been trying to find an easy way to add to the product pages some standard text that makes it clear to customers that the product is either "New" or has been "Used".

It would be good to have an option button when creating the new advert page that can be clicked and this then adds the Custom Text ie Item Is New" or Item Is Used" to a standard position at the top of every advert page as in a header area that shows this text.

I guess I will have to spell that out in every advert that I type up, but would be a good option in future versions of Zen Cart.

Any suggestions would be welcomed on how to easily achieve this, and thanks in advance.

Regards Rodney

Re: An option when creating New Product Page for Item is New or Item is Used

While it won't display at the top of the page, you could create a read-only attribute, see https://docs.zen-cart.com/user/products/attributes/, using an *option *named **Condition **with option-values of **New **and Used.

When that option and its values are associated with a product's attribute, the Condition: [New|Used] will display in a block near the product's pricing.
