Installed this just now on 1.57c site running php 7.4.33
First run and I get this error.

My tip (which I hate when others respond with this) is to upgrade and/or remove the plugin.  The zc157 versions don't support anywhere close to current PluginControl.

I'll start by updating the documentation to indicate that the minimum supported version is 1.5.8.

I would also highly recommend you have the client update to at least a PHP 8.X version. The version you're using (7.4) is not even supported and reached it's End Of Life almost 4 years ago.

I am in the middle of an upgrade - I have a dev site I'm getting ready on ZC 2.2 but still have some snagging before taking it live.

I have and upgraded zc 2.1.0 on php 8.3.3 from zc1.54 and have the following issue after installing to 1.0.5 the install went well until i ran a feed and was tod request failed check logs.

It appears that a product's master category of 186 isn't a valid category.

I think I put a bandaid until an update is done?
I Removed this line from gpsf_main_controller.php file,

$categoryPath = array_reverse($categoryPath);

Pasted this:

if (!is_array($categoryPath) || empty($categoryPath)) {
    return []; // prevents fatal crash
}

$categoryPath = array_reverse($categoryPath);

I was told this makes it GPSF PHP‑8 safe and prevents the crash even if a category is missing.
This is my first time sharing a tip, hopefully it helps someone or i did it wrong, 😄
By the way, the new zen cart site looks awesome!

Sigh, I'm going to have to stop supporting multiple Zen Cart versions; the $currencies->value() method was updated in ZC 2.2.0 to return a float|int. The suggestion that @mprough provided is what I would have suggested!
