Kudos to GeekHost!

One of my clients fat-fingered an FTP command and wound up clobbering his entire site. GeekHost stepped right in and installed a backup that was less than 24 hours old and restored his site within an hour!

I'm glad they got it going and I post this as information - not anything else is implied or intended.

I would point out that most hosts (including our certified host myzencarthost.com) backup at least daily. Ours are done at GMT-0600 and avaiable for download from our provided cPanel. Our cPanel also allows the customer to do both partial and full backups and/or restorations at will (free) or we will assist for a small fee.

Account Backups available include the first day of the month, weekly, and the most recent 7 days.

Therefore, it is almost impossible to have the most recent backup be more than 24 hours old and more likely that it is less than 24 hours old. It's what good certified hosts do for their customers.

Prob should have said less than 48 hours old because - I can confidently state this because I had made changes 2 days ago that were in the backup and didn't need to be-reloaded. "A very recent backup."
