I had my site go down four times today and I was advise that I need to optimise the php files as well as the database. Also they were saying that I could run a cron job so it would not happen in the future.

Any help with coding etc would be appreciated so it does not happen again.

I also get the malware bytes block when trying to go to the site

I'd suggest a better host than GoDaddy. The Zen Cart code runs fine on hundreds of thousands of servers. It's not the Zen Cart code.
