Discount not showing in %

I need some help please with my store.

At the moment i am running a sale on certain items. I wish the discount to be shown in % and not as a figure.

So, i have followed these instructions and still cannot get the saving showing in %

Key: SHOW_SALE_DISCOUNT
Path: Configuration > Product Info
Description: Product Info - Show the amount of discount savings display as:
1= % off 2= $amount off

(Settings on 2)

From what I am reading here you'd want the setting to be 1 ??

if i am correct.... choosing 1 switches % off and choosing 2 switches £ off.

The setting at the moment are on 2... however, i have tried both 1 and 2 and still i cannot see %

I'm not sure what's hosed-up on your site, but my demo site (https://zc158.vinosdefrutastropicales.com/zc158/) is running Bootstrap 3.6.1 on Zen Cart 1.5.8a and shows the discounts as percentages.

I have had a look at your test site and that is what i am after, product price with a percentage showing savings.

So, i have carefully checked everything and still i get the same result, no % showing.

I go to - Admin > Configuration > Product info > then click on Product info - shows sales discount saving dollars or percentage.

The option '1' is selected.

Still i get savings in monetary format and not %

What else could i be doing wrong here? Could there be some files missing etc that i can check on?

Okay, i think i may have guessed the issue.

When i goto Admin > Configuration > Product info

I select option '1' for **Product Info - Show Sales Discount Savings Dollars or Percentage

THEN i need to go to Product Info - Show Sales Discount Savings Status and select option '1'.

Now, by doing this i can see the savings in percent.

However, when yu goto a category that has more than one product i can see all the products with the new price and the % saved. But, the layout is slightly messed up.
Where the manufacture, weight, product image column are all fine. The description column is now squashed and the text makes the column longer f that makes sense?

By showing the percentage saved on the product it messes up the layout in the display.

Is this a normal thing or can this be fixed?

Hi, just wanted to say that i have sorted this issue out.

The issue was that in my product categories i was displaying too much and i had restricted space.

So, i was showing, Manufacture, Weight, Image, Description and price.

I was running out of space and that is what was causing the description column to be squashed when the savings % was turned on.

My solution was to go Configuration > Product listing > Display Product Weight
Then turn off the option not to show the product weight.

By doing this, i removed the weights column in the product category and this now works well with no column stretched.

I am still able to see the weight when i click on the product.
