How to add extra photos to product listings?

I have the cart up and running (yay!) and am now trying to add a few real-world products to the cart to see what kinds of problems I'm likely to encounter and am already feelin' dazed and confused 'cause I can't remember how to add extra photos to the product listings. I believe I can add different sizes of the same photo (although I haven't tried that yet) but I want to add alternative views -front, back, in use, etc.

Also, I want the photos to automatically change height to remain proportionate to the width. I often have art from the manufacturers and don't want to try to edit it to suit the size parameters; rather I just want to choose a single width for all and have the cart figure out the height on-the-fly. I'm almost certain I had it working that way before but now am afraid maybe it was just wishful thinking?

These extra photos are what Zen Cart calls additional images, there's a switch in Admin to control their display and they are attributed to a product based on the filename, see - https://docs.zen-cart.com/user/images/additional_images/#how-do-i-enable-the-additional-images-feature

Don't forget that Zen Cart requires three different sizes of images - small (for product listing pages (among others)), medium (for product info pages) and large (for the enlarged images on product info pages). The plugin mentioned - Image Handler - will automatically create these and just needs a large image uploaded. Note that Image Handler calls these images 'additional images', not to be confused with the extra photos discussed above.

I think here you are talking about responsive images, that resize depending on changes to the screen size. That is controlled by your template which is itself responsive so, assuming it's a decent template, I don't think you'll have an issue.

I think here you are talking about responsive images, that resize depending on changes to the screen size. That is controlled by your template which is itself responsive so, assuming it's a decent template, I don't think you'll have an issue.
