System Inspection - Missing Admin Configuration Pages

I just started upgrading from 2.0.0 to 2.1.0 and installed all of the packaged plugins that came with the ZIP file...and my plugin that I have been working on since 1.3.8.

I have been using the encapsulated plug-in tools since 1.5.8a.

While reviewing the System Inspection tool, it tells me that my plugin, EZ-Feeds Settings, is missing admin configuration pages.

These are entries in Admin->Configuration (configuration_groups) without corresponding admin_pages entries.

https://192.xxx.x.x/zcxxxxx210/xxxxxxxxx/index.php?cmd=configuration&gID=32

As you can see from the error link, the configuration gID says 32.

However, when I check the gID in in the configuration_group table, 33 is the assigned ID.

Additionally, searching for 32 in the configuration table gID field does not show any records for EZ-Feeds, but searching for 33 shows all of my Scripted Installer setup records.

I also verified that my plugin is showing up in the admin_pages table.

All the ducks appear to be lined up, but yet I still get this error.

Am I missing something?

Re: System Inspection - Missing Admin Configuration Pages

Hold on for a minute...all of my configuration table additions do not have 33 as the gID now.

They have changed to 32 after uninstalling and reinstalling my plugin.

Let me double check how my script retrieves the gID after my plugin is added to the mix.

I think I see what is going on.

My plugin is based off of a copy of the configuration.php file which relies on page_params in the admin_pages table.

I have not Melded anything yet so something has probably changed in the new configuration.php file.

The System Inspection error went away after I added page_params (gID=32) to the admin_pages table.

I'll update my ScriptedInstaller to do the same.

I'm still at a loss as to why my gID was 33 on the first install then 32 on the second? That's a 'poser...

Re: System Inspection - Missing Admin Configuration Pages

Not a bug...I think. :blush::blush::blush:

My apologies, it appears I simply needed to add some code to my ScriptedInstaller.

Adding gID for page_params in the admin_pages table stopped the reported issue.

As far as the wonky gID goes on the initial install, well, I didn't have any delete code for the existing gID from the configuration_group table when I ran the uninstaller. (This is where the "...I think" from above applies).

What I don't understand is why it is giving me an error code for the configuration menu. My plugin has always been a part of the tools menu with no options for the configuration menu.
