Duplicate orders on Paypal

For some reason all of a sudden I am getting duplicate orders on paypal. Just fyi i am not getting duplicate transaction. What would cause this?

Double press on the confirm button? Have you done a test order?

2 orders and 2 payments or 2 orders but only 1 payment?
On the last scenario you can find topics with the search function.

for example someone check out i get 4 orders in zencart but 1 transaction in paypal. If that makes sense. Where did you find the documentation about this. I must have missed it

I think it might be a server issue. Seems like my checkout was lagging. Customer must have hit the submit button multiple times causing it to go through x amount of times

do you use the usual 3-way checkout?

I can't reproduce the double-click theory.

I had something similar a long while ago.
2 orders with different order id but only one payment.
In my case ~0,01% of the orders have been faulty.
Not perfect but not bad either.

I can echo this. I used to use paypal express when I first started with zen cart and occasionally got multiple orders from one transaction.

I moved to square though because the rates are way better and as it turns out it works a lot better. In fact it has been flawless for a number of years.
