Problems with Index settings on Home Page

Moving from v1.5.6 to 2.1.0, and it's like moving form English changed to Esperanto. I'm getting there, but stil sytuck on very basic settings.

So I got "Show Featured Products on Main Page" to show featured products, but new products are also being displayed first, even though it's set to zero. No clear what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Which template are you using? If this is with respect to fluorspar, I'll suggest posting in that template's support thread.

Re: Problems with Index settings on Home Page

I left out one potentially important variable - I'm using the responsive classic template with the extended features plugin.

I'm using the responsive classic template ...

You meant RC Redesigned, right?

Assuming so, you can always flip back to the original responsive classic and test there to see if it's a different interpretation (possibly a bug) in RC Redesigned.
