Product description not showing, just 1 image

I am using zencart version 1.5.8a. Today i reinstalled Image handler 4 as i was having issues uploading additional product images.

I carefully followed the instructions.

Now i have an issue where i cannot see any text or layout on my pages apart from one image. No descriptions etc.

Template used = Bootstrap

I have realised one thing. If i have a product with multiple images, then i only get to see one image and no product description.

If i then remove all the images, so we only have one image for the product. Then i can see that image as well as the product description etc.

If i then try to use Image Handler 4 to add extra images, I then loose the product description and only get to see one image and nothing else.

I'm guessing that you're using Image Handler 5, since IH-4 hasn't been supported for a long time. The error you're receiving (from your first post) is due to the file /admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/bmz_language_admin.php neither being overwritten with the IH-5 version or not deleted.

I uploaded IH 4.... Should i remove that version and upload IH5?

I could have done this by mistake without realising.

BTW, apologies for the double post. I am quiet desperate to get my site back up and running again - sorry.

I don't even understand why you ask... IH 4 was last updated 13 years ago and was made for ZC 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 !!!???

What i am trying to ask is. If i was to uninstall the IH 4, would i need to carry out anything extra, like change certain files or remove anything from the database, or is it a simple case of removing the unwanted old IH files.

As all plugins it must be uninstalled properly. Generally, instruction for that are provided with the plugin. IH 5 has its own uninstaller script, but I don't know about IH 4. Both of them modify the database, you can't just remove files and expect all is going to be well.

That is what i was asking in the first place. If there was anything in the database that i may need to edit or change.

I removed the files from IH4 and then uploaded IH5 files.

I still have the same issue. Am i doing anything wrong after the new installation?

The issue is IH_RESIZE_TITLE should not be present in IH5. one of the files in your installation it is trying to use this constant and it is not set. I suggest you search your code for the constant IH_RESIZE_TITLE. When you find it if it is in one of the image handler files then you have not removed or replaced all the IH4 files with IH5 files. if it is not in the image handler files then you have a modification to your zen cart and will need to see what it is going and change it.
