inode limit reached. OK to delete myDEBUG .log files in store/logs?

My hosting company has notified me that my store has exceeded its inode limit.

Is it OK to delete all the .log files in store/logs?

If yes, should I leave a few of the most recent ones for reference?

Thanks in advance!

I'd leave a couple of the most recent ones to see what the underlying issue(s) are, so that they can be corrected. Otherwise, you're going to hit that inode limit again.

If you are truly running 1.5.7, you're probably going to get some other "surprises" from your host as well.

As a matter of fact, you might want to take a real close look at the last several months of those log files. Especially if they have the words error or deprecated in the title. Your host may have already upped your PHP settings without notifying you. That would really start the log files to pile up.
