Tableau2 on ZC 2.2

Anyone was able to install the updated Tableau2 template? I tried on a local setup with Xampp

Once installed, I can't get into admin at all. I think it is not working because it is on a local server and can't check for license or else... Any help would be appreciated

try deleting this file:

YOUR_CATALOG/YOUR_ADMIN/includes/init_includes/init_numinix_structured_data.php

the code is trying to do something with a class that does not exist.

as the template is on the zen-cart site, my understanding is that the code should operate on whatever license ZC uses (GNU Public License).

whatever the nxPluginLicCheck does, i do not know. but it is not included in the download.

I tried but it is crashing as autoload is looking for the file:

try and play along.... your local server has nothing to do with it.

rather than deleting that file, restore it, and then, comment out lines or delete lines 5 and 6.

On the catalog side it is as messy. I got many error log files: deprecated notices or variables missing.
I did a screen capture to show you how nice this template looks....

I did install it per instruction, which requires installing Composer and copying all files over original ones. Some of the files provided are older core files from ZC...
Looking at the code, it appears that the Numinix Structured Data plugin is required ($5 by the way) and the Image Handler plugin too!

Another potential problem I found is a tip that advises to deactivate the Apache module mod_security if there are some problems with template setting. It is certainly something you should not do.

I know ZC is in desperate need of new template, this one is really too bad and should not be distributed by ZC if you want to keep users.

I am done with this template.

I just got hopeful when i saw a new release as of July 31, 2026 for it with ZC 2.0 compatibility.

I think the latest release should be removed from the plugin for it being misleading.

I agree that it should not be in the plugin section. At least, not displayed as compatible with ZC 2.0.

As for the lack of template, I think they did a great job with bootstrap and the new responsive. They provides a good foundation to work on and are easily modify to sit your need. A " satisfy everyone" template is very unlikely if not impossible but with a bit of work, anyone can achieve what they want. Heck, I have done well on my template. It is not perfect but I am happy with it for anon programmer guy

I think i will stay away from this one if I want to keep my sanity 😉

I have been trying to install and use this template for years, it always without fault destroys my site so much so that I have to re-install Zen Cart and start over again. Although appreciated the effort and wholeheartedness of providing this template free to all, it will kill your Zen Cart install permanently, sorry.
