Shipstation email requiring immediate update.

I received the following email this afternoon

We strongly recommend that you immediately update the ShipStation application plugin on your account on Zen Cart to the latest version to patch a critical issue.

During our routine security assessment and review of our services, we identified the issue that impacts the ShipStation plugin currently used by your business.

In order to maintain protection of data related to your customers and your business, we strongly recommend that you promptly upgrade to the latest plugin version 2026.10.20 available at https://ss.shipstation.com/content/integration/ZenCart/shipstation_zc.zip

We will cease support of the older version on Oct 26th, 2026.

I am running zencart 2.2.2 and version 2.3 of the pluggin released oct 30 2025 and everything has been working great. Looking at their download it appears to be for the older zencart sites. It doesn't work with 2.2.2.

I am worried that my company is about be affected if they drop support. I am not sure if the 2.3 may already have the options they are looking for?

I contacted shipstation support and they passed on the info to their team but I do not have an answer currently.
