Mzmt Sql

I have successfully installed MZMT but find that it adds a weight calculation in brackets thus

(1 x 26.00lbs)

after each shipping method. If the product is heavy, then it adds weird things like (5 x 46.02lbs). Why is this and how can I remove it?

I suspect it has something to do with the fact that MZMT uses UPS as standard and I have simply edited the UPS text out of includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/mzmt.php

You can see the issue at www.premiertoolsales.co.uk/catalog

Re: Mzmt Sql

I installed both MZMT files and changed the number of zones from 3 to 4. Whenever I go to Admin > Modules > Shipping it displays:

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_ID in /hsphere/local/home/m2tmedia/stablesolutions.m2tsecurehost.com/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 49

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_ID in /hsphere/local/home/m2tmedia/stablesolutions.m2tsecurehost.com/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 53

Since I have 4 zones I added the following code to the language MZMT.php file:

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TEXT_TITLE', '');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_ICON', '');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TABLE_1_TEXT_WAY', '');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TABLE_2_TEXT_WAY', '');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TABLE_3_TEXT_WAY', '');

What else do I need to make this work correctly?

Re: Mzmt Sql

When you change the number of zones, you need to remove and then re-install the module from the Admin Shipping Modules page.

Re: Mzmt Sql

MZMT uses standard Zen Cart functionality to display the number of boxes and weight. You can change how this is calculated and displayed under Admin -> Configuration -> Shipping/Packaging

Re: Mzmt Sql

It is still being worked on. I mean, I have it implemented already, but the new MZMT version is not ready for production use just yet.

Re: Mzmt Sql

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to fix a shipping estimator error on version 3.6 cart that was installed last year for a friend. It seems to be getting path errors for no reason. when you click the button for the shipping estimator pop up....it shoots off the following errors in the pop-up window:

[ Close Window ]

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TEXT_TITLE in /web/home/v/a/domain.com/htdocs/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 67

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TABLE_1_TEXT_WAY in /web/home/v/a/domain.com/htdocs/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 125

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_ICON in /web/home/v/a/domain.com/htdocs/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 134

Warning: constant(): Couldn't find constant MODULE_SHIPPING_MZMT_GEOZONE_4_TABLE_1_TEXT_WAY in /web/home/v/a/domain.com/htdocs/includes/modules/shipping/mzmt.php on line 97

However, despite the errors, if you scroll down and select the appropriate state, etc, the module actually does work. Does anyone have an idea about what is making these errors appear at the top and how I can get them removed? I've tried to locate another module to see if I needed to re-install. I'm completely stumped on this one.

I appreciate any insight. :-)

Thanks,
Kinget

Re: Mzmt Sql

Hi..well, after two days I thought I had nailed down my shipping set-up with the excellent MZMT mod..I had thought my new vendor's shipping method was based on a TOTAL order price as it related to a price range/shipping cost table...as per the following

Item Price UPS Ground
$30-$44 $9.95
$45-$59 $10.95
$60-$79 $11.95
etc, etc

2-Day Air Add $9.95 to Ground Charge
Overnight Air Add $19.95 to Ground Charge
Saturday Del Add $10.00 to Air charge

Well, after much headache I got it set up I thought with MZMT but I set it up where the TOTAL resultant sub-total in check-out was the price determinant (Item Price) where I now realize the vendor wants the INDIVIDUAL Item Price to be used in calculating..I hope this is clear? (my own head swimming:-)
Is there someone expert enough to tell me how I can set up my shipping config so that each items individual price will determine ..as it falls into the grid..the base shipping cost, and thereupon depending on which shipping method (Table) the customer chooses..will calculate correctly in check-out? I suspect I may have to use product options/values but then the customer would have to choose the shipping methods for every product one by one ..not very desirable..much better to have it all calculated and presented at check-out...
Anyway, this has my head throbbing so if anyone knows how I should be going about it thanks in advance and much appreciated!

Re: Mzmt Sql

Just an afterthought..maybe if I input the various ground rates as 'handling charge' per each individual product (all 200 of them) and then the Air charges input in the standard Table Rate Module?

Re: Mzmt Sql

Talking to myself here..:-) To clarify in case anyone is kind enough to help out..the MZMT tables I set up work perfectly..for one product..but I want to be able to sell more than one product at a time.as it is set up now if a customer purchases two or more products MZMT calculates the shipping as if that subtotal was one product cost and the shipping costs calculations are all wrong..

How do I import into zen cart. Apparently I need to "import" the 'install_v1.00.sql' into the DB.

Thanks

Re: Mzmt Sql

to import the .sql file
you will want to login to ZC Admin go to tools -> sql updater and run it there either browse for it or copy and paste the contents

Re: Mzmt Sql

Apparently each time I tried to send the sql it added a reference in the configure menu. I now have 9 reference to the mzmt but only the first instance gives you the ability to edit the zones.

Re: Mzmt Sql

When I set up my zones and edit the php file for the definitions (adding additional zones and tables) the additional table do not show up in the edit page. Only the default 3 show up regardless of how many tables I add.

Did you reset the number of zones and tables in:

admin -> configuration -> MultiGeoZone MultiTable Shipping
