It can be whatever size you'd like.

Hi,
Just to clarify for clueless people like me, this is done via FTP and the Admin folder, not the Admin control panel :)
Thanks for the tip. This is a really handy feature.

I must be the dumbest man alive as I tried that 4 times and I still get the ZenCart Logo.
I just renamed my_logo.jpg file to that of the logo.gif file, and I put it where you told others to put it but I can't get it to work.
:cry:I need help bad!

You cannot save a 'jpg' as a 'gif' -- you must use an image program to convert else the image will not display.
Also, after uploading your logo remember to refresh your Browser so it will display the new image and not a cached one.
The learning is in the doing.

I'm having this same problem with the logo too. I want to put it in the customer's order conformation email and I tried everything mentioned above in this thread and I still only get a red x when I try to view the image. Are there any other suggestions besides what was mentioned here already to help me get my logo on there?

Oh yeah... me too...
Trying to hunt down which image file it is, I dont think its that logo.gif :(

Ok, now I have 2 red x's in the customer invoice box instead of 1, and I tried to delete the downloaded logo, which didn't work anyway, but still have two red x's in the box. I also tried changing the name to logo.gif and deleting the other logo.gif that was there because it wasn't working anyway, but still 2 x's on the order conformation.

Can someone please tell me how to fix my logo image.
I followed the directions and uploaded it via ftp, however, when I view my invoice, or even on my admin screen the logo is squished.
I will try

Thanks Schoolboy. I got the problem fixed. I read some post about image conversion from jpg to gif. My file originally was a jpg file and I was saving the file as gif in microsoft picture. However, microsoft never converted the file. Lesson learned, get a good image converter therefore the gif became corrupted.
I utilized a different program to convert the image and it was fixed. Note to others: Check the program that your converting your image with.
