Internal Server Error

I upgraded a new install from 1.3 to zen-cart-v1.3.0.1-changed_files_only
I obviously have done something wrong because although everything else works on my site, when I go to admin -> configuration -> any file I get

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster @oradesigns.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/1.3.34 Server at www. oradesigns. com Port 80

Any help I can get would be appreciated. It would be nice to be able to change a few things in there. Thanks

Please post your admin/includes/configure.php without your passwords.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

What messages are showing in your server's errorlog when you get these messages?

Re: Internal Server Error

I'm sorry. I'm a real novice here. Let me see if I can find anything. I'm still learning my way around my server too.

Re: Internal Server Error

Okay, try TEMPORARILY renaming the /admin/.htaccess file to htaccess_bak

If that doesn't solve it, try doing the same to /admin/includes/.htaccess file

Re: Internal Server Error

Nope, same thing.
Maybe I should just reinstall and try to restore everything. I have used the template overides for everything so hopefully I won't loose anything. I'm not live yet so I won't loose anything in the database. Anything I need to back-up before I just wipe everything?

Re: Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster @oradesigns.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Hello, this error message is often times associated with a mod_security block.

Please contact your host and ask them if they see a mod_security block in their logs for your site and what rule you have broken.

If it is mod_security, more then likely you have a double slash ( // ) somewhere - or something similar.

Hope this helps...

Re: Internal Server Error

I have just wiped and reinstalled zencart. Works fine now. Now I just have to reconfigure everything and upload all my templates, images, etc. I don't know what it was but I'm sure it had something to do with the way I upgraded things.
