Is this the ONLY mod that you have installed? If not, did you follow up my suggestion to clean install to a different subfolder and thereafter install the mod?

Did you install all the 'updates' to the mod from the web site? (They are included in the attachment to an earlier post by me)

I still have problems with this mod (either version 2.105 or 3 beta) and wondered if someone knowledgeable would be so kind as to help to put me out of my misery.

If the user selects an alternative currency in my store they are immediately returned to the Home page and the currency doesn't change from the default i.e. stays at GBP.

If I disable SEO Url's the problem goes away. POUF! Just like that. GONE.

The problem I previously had with Google transaltor breaking the site has gone, (maybe I fixed something) but try as I might, I just cannot get this problem with the currencies to go away.

HELP, please.

ok i deceide to try again. first time around my site wouldn't even show up nothing just blank screen.. well months gone past and i have a clean site. installed the newest version. fellow step by step. the address llooks like its working but every page goes to page not found and it displays my sitemap for all pages. no matter which page you pic it displays title page not found and list my sitemap. turn it off i get long adress names ut everything works. any ideas?? i tried both differnet .htaccess for i didn't have one in the first place. :frusty: need help please

Why? Did I miss something in the install or set-up?

The mod works in both versions - it's as simple as that.

Which version of ZC are you using, and which version of the mod have you installed?

I suggest that you methodically adjust with the settings from Admin, sucessively testing the effect of each 'option'.

Double-double check the files, and then if it's not working, leave it for a day, and re-check with an open mind.

Ensure that you have followed all the instructions - exactly. Ensure that your FTP software hasn't missed an upload - it can happen!!

Is your site/store on a re-direct or similar?

the main problem in this Mod

and why it goes crazy on some websites and fine on others while all or at least most of us install it correctly is that you are using a BETA version

i asked many friends of mine who works on PHP coding and some of them are PHP freaks by the way they just don't want to see the code because it still BETA

eveyone says just forget about it, its beta :no:

and i don't think that Chemo willl be working to give you a free, ready to install, SEO URL... because he is not even answering , as far as i know, here

get Magic SEO man and tell them not to include their link into your main page cuz you are buying it, and if they want to include their link to your main page the whole code should be free because your URL is powered by ;)

Obviously it's not ideal though as each click takes two page loads.

You can see the site at https://www.houseofmistry.co.uk any ideas? I had 've uploaded all the files from 2.105 (had the 2.10 files uploaded before but had issues with the installation at application_top.php)

I have that same problem when I first visit my site, but it corrects itself as soon as you click the first link, and from then on, it's fine, until you close your browser and start all over. Very weird problem.

Did you edit the zen_href_link function within the includes/functions/html_output.php file?

You should have changed the original function name, and inserted a new function as mentioned in the install guide.

i deleted all the files for the v3b and i uploaded the new files again and they started to work automatrically!

it never worked correctly, after having the right link displayed, i have the page not found all the time :lamo:

and by the way, i doubt that anyone can know why it works on someone's site while it don't with others :huh:

It's not that it works on one site and another: the version 3 beta works, it's as simple as that. Correctly installed on a fresh sitem, as a post above testifies, it works.

I would hazard a guess and say that if it didn't work, it wasn't correctly installed. It is imperative that all the instructions in the PDF file, and all the bug fixes /updates are installed. (I think that if you were to take all the posts about mods not working throughout ALL Zen Cart Forums, you would find that at least 75% of the problems are due to a bad install, or failing to follow the instructions implicitly. On some occasions it's not due to error on the part of the 'installer' - some FTP programs can fail to upload all the files/components to the user's store and don't warn the user!!)

It is, of course, possible that other modes might conflict with this, but that's another matter.
