Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

I have the Canada Post module installed and it was working just fine. Now I am getting XML Parsing errors whenever my customers try to check out.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

Check your product titles. If they have &'s in them you will get parse errors.

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

What if you remove the & from your store name, as a temporary test?

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

lol i know

we did some work in the "stock by attributes" mod like actually adding inventory

thats about all we can remember lol

I know i have a backup of the site from the night before so i may just revert to it and see what screws it up again but i'd rather not just waste the entire day of work from yesterday

Thanks
Evan

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

Does the problem happen only with certain products? or with all products?
Do you have some products without attributes? Does it happen with those too?

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

Are there any** & or < or > or %** symbols in any of: product descriptions, address details (city, street, postal), product details such as price, qty, length, width, height, etc?

Re: Canada Post Module XML Parsing Error

Probably best to ask Canada Post what the specific error is. Their support people can see the transaction you're submitting and usually identify what's wrong with the content or preventing the quoting.

I'd suggest asking CP about that one too, since I'm pretty sure that message is coming from their server.
Maybe you need to configure your box settings in your SellOnline profile differently.
