Attributes controlled Sales?

The Zen-cart that I set up has many many products. In order to eliminate repetition, we have only one Value Name: Model. The Value Options are the various models, and the similar ones are added as models to the base model. The price and weight are set in Attributes Controller.

That being said- My client asked how she would use Specials. I gave her instructions, but then realized that the base model is set to $0. Any special set just shows up as $0.00 - and each Model is priced at $0.00.

Is there a way to put an item on sale, and have all the attributes subtract the $50, or 10% or whatever sale my client wants to put?

I have the same problem. I have a hometheater screen that has a few options. I set the price to 0.00 and have a list of options that set the price like size, color and type. I would like to set a sale up for that product and have the sale apply to the final price after options. Help.
