Choose product by Alphabet

This would be a very good contrib. to have a table with the alphabet #,A,B,C...Z
So that the customer can search for a product that begins with first letter or designer... I've seen this on quiet a few sites anyone know how to make such a mod?

Re: Choose product by Alphabet

I did something like that for a client. You can download my mod from

http://www.intranet.co.za/downloads/zen-cart-Alphabetic-Catalogue.zip

No core files are altered. Just unzip and copy to install.

Go to your sideboxes control to enable it.

Re: Choose product by Alphabet

Does this mod make an alphabar? Or is it in a sidebox, or a dropdown like the one in v1.35?

If it can be made into an alphabar is it v1.35 compliant?

thank you,

betty

Re: Choose product by Alphabet

Yes, I have seen the built in Alpha sort in v1.35.

Nothing against it, I just have someone that wants/needs an alphabar.
