Thanks for the mod !

All installed etc etc. It all seems to work apart from the summery on the front page. I have added the line:

<?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . zen_get_module_directory(FILENAME_NEWS_SUMMARY_MODULE)); ?>

to the file: tpl_index_default.php

But nothing displays.

I tried adding it too: tpl_main_page.php (just to see if it worked)

which gives the desired effect of it showing on the index but then it displays on the news page, which I obviously don't want as I then have a summary on the same page as the actual story which is pointless.

So what I'm basically saying is that I can't get summery on the index page to work, its like it is just being ignored, any ideas?

I love this add-on it works well and I have no problems with it. However I would like a little help in adding a second copy of it to my website. I use the first one to contain certain news articles on the site I have designed. I need the second mod for completely unrelated articles that need to be kept separate. I am planning to alter a copy of your add-on to name files different in order to not over-right the first add-on. I was hoping you might be able to let me know what files I would need to edit. I intend to call it "scientific advisory board" it will be contributed by different individuals that make up the board. Thanks for any help you can provide.

no problem with IE or safari, but the fckeditor can't show up in opera.

Hey guys,

i have another small problem. i have everything working in version 1.38a incl. the summary module, but I can't get the Dynamic Page Titles for News Pages to work. I do get changing titles for my news pages but the meta tag keywords and description stay the same.

Are there any new files I need to edit because this mod has been made for an older zen-cart version?

I have installed this module, but I am trying to find out where I can I find the separate page to view my articles, The only configuration I found in the adming area is below:

CONFIGURATION/NEWS & ARTICLE MANAGEMENT
CATALOG/NEWS & ARTICLE -ARTICLES
CATALOG/NEWS & ARTICLE - AUTHORS

I don't see anything to turn a link on for people to go to that page? Can someone help me on resolving this problem, as I have the contibution installed, but can't see anything on my catalog for news & articles for others to view?

i have ZEN 1.3.6 and install news 2.110 every thing is OK just 2 problem the first about scroll news is line biggest of side box and another one about picture in main news article also is biggest and text is showing in small place.

I just installed this addon, and I have having some trouble. When I go to the news page, it displays the left sidebar in the center, and nothing else on the page. here is what it looks like:

yeah, I am having this exact same problem too.

oh, and ignore my above post. I just forgot to import a few files.

I like the plug-in, today, I installed the last version for my 1.38a, I have two questions:

1. I think it's a bug for SQL file, Please replace "(NULL, 'Feed Cache Time', 'RSS_CACHE_TIME', '10', 'Cache Time (in min). If you don't want caching, set it to 0', @configuration_group_id, 200, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array('true', 'false'),');" to "(NULL, 'Feed Cache Time', 'RSS_CACHE_TIME', '10', 'Cache Time (in min). If you don't want caching, set it to 0', @configuration_group_id, 200, NOW(), NULL, NULL);
2. This version can't support "Image Handles 2" plus-in, could you add "Image Handles 2" support?

How do I install the sql patch for this mod using the install sql patches feature in my admin?
