Moving the Product Detail list

Here's what I've done:

In the tpl_product_info_display.php I moved the section for Product Detail List so it would show up under the Product Price Block. I did this in PHP Coder Pro. I then uploaded it to my includes/templates/custom/common folder and checked to make sure the permission was correct.

I checked and the file on my server that I see through my FTP program is the changed one. But, when I go to my website, the change has not been made. I checked the source and also have cleared my cache several times. The change is not there.

Before I write my host I wanted to make sure that I didn't put the file in the wrong place. :-)

Is there something in the css that I've missed?

Try deleting or renaming the file on the server prior to upload. I have found ftp sometimes does not overwrite files on some servers.

Next check you are uploading the modified file to the correct place. I have done that too :)

Thanks for the reply. I uploaded the file again - having changed the name of the one that was on the server. Same problem. I checked and checked and I'm 99% sure it's in the right directory on the server.

The source still doesn't show the changes I made to the template file.

I guess I'll write my host and have him take a look at things. They did just upgrade me and I was having some log-in problems - and the javascript on this page has gone nuts.

If anyone else has any ideas - I'm open to suggestions. I just want to get this done so I can get back to my design work. :-)

I've been reading about Zen Cart and trying to get one to work for well over a year. How the heck did I miss that you have to have a "template" directory in your custom template directory? ::sigh::

Ok, so I've figured that out. Now it's back to the drawing board to figure out how to get the info to line up. I know css is supposed to be better - but I really do miss being able to control the look of a site with tables. lol
