[BUG?] Text Atribute not working in 1.3.0.1

I was trying to work on text field attribute and found that in v1.3.0.1 the input field does not show on product page. I verified the demo data too and it's the same.

Is it a bug? Any suggestion on how to fix?

If you look in the product_options_values table ... do you have an Option Value for:

 Full Texts  	  products_options_values_id   	  language_id   	  products_options_values_name   	  products_options_values_sort_order
	Edit 	Delete 	0 	1 	TEXT 	0

Yes I have it.

Found the problem, it must be an error with translation (ie defines). Now I'm checking, when I solve, I'll post it.

hmmm.... can you please tell me where to find where is the code that print the input field? Since it is not printed at all. If I switch to english everything is ok, but in laguage files I don't find anything wrong at a first glance.

In your products_options_values table of your database ...

If you sort on: products_options_values_id

How many rows do you have for each value and do the language_id match the languages you are using?

How many rows do you have for: products_options_values_id 0 that read TEXT for the products_options_values_name

It was exactly that, missing 1 row for the language.

This time we used another version of db translation, and this one had that row lacking.

Thanks for the update ... this will be of help to others who lose the ability to have TEXT attributes in their shops ...

Note: when you get bored ... hit the Edit on the Option Name for one of your Option Names that are type TEXT ... and peek at the nice new textarea feature in Zen Cart v1.3.x ... :cool:
