A package deal?

Hi,

I'm looking at setting up a store where customers choose packages. These packages are based on individual products. So for instance, if a customer purchases the sports package, their car will have a sports exhaust, spoiler, nice tyres. If a customer purchases the economy package, they'll have cheap tyres, cheap interior, no doors (just kidding:wink2: ). Anyways, the packages are only recommended to the customer, they can directly select the products still if they want. Is this possible with Zen Cart?

Regards,
Waylon.

If I redefine the terms a little, I believe that this should be possible using attributes. You can find out a bit more on this thread but in principle, if instead of saying package we say poroduct, the product "car" can have a number of attributes that you design, such as doors (checkbox for yes or no), colour (selected from a drop down list), cheap, standard or sports types (selected by radio button). You can name and define how the attributes are selected so they provide a great deal of flexibility.
